2014 UK Trip Day 11: Tower of London / Les Misérables
2014 年英國之旅第十一天: 倫敦塔 / 孤星淚
Fully charged after a long night of rest...
On day 11, we went to the Tower of London.
Sneak peek time: Day 10 - Cambridge (let's skip it first)
There were a lot of red poppies surrounding the tower.
I was told that was a dedication to the soldiers who died in the 1st world war.
睡了一整夜, HP差滿了, 一大清早就跑去觀光。
在旅程的第十一天, 我們去了倫敦塔。
由於第十天我們去了劍橋, 又拍了超多照片, 那天的分享就遲一下再寫 了 (懶!)
倫敦塔下有很多罌粟花, 據說那是為了記念一戰中死去的士兵們 (致敬)。
Entrance fee: £24.50
Worth a visit!
入場費: £24.50
可以一戰!
Several wingless crows were kept in the tower; that is cruel...
塔內養了數隻折翼烏 鴉, 感覺有點殘忍 (哭)。
We could see the Tower Bridge inside the castle.
在城堡內可看見倫敦橋。
It was around 4pm after we finished our tour to the Tower;
did some shoppings then headed to dinner.
We had reserved a seat at Randall and Aubin few weeks before.
Nice seafood restaurant in Soho district; fair price.
Definitely more expensive to eat the same quality in Hong Kong!
£36 for 16 osters, nice deal!!
參觀完倫敦塔時大 概是4:00pm, 逛了一會兒街, 便去了一早預約的餐廳吃晚飯。
Randall and Aubin 是在蘇豪區的一間海鮮餐廳。
旅遊書也有推介， 確實不錯!
價錢合理, 在香港吃這個質素的餐廳肯 定是比較貴了!
£36, 16隻蠔, 不貴吧!
Still got sometime before the opera...
We accidentally discovered the "China Town" in London!!
晚飯後尚有一點時間...
散步時發現了倫敦的唐人街!!
You must book your ticket before heading for an Opera as they don't have much seats left.
I booked my tickets through Ticket Master and you may look at the seats review through the Seat Plan.
在倫敦看歌劇一定要先去網上訂票, 因為 每場都差不多全 院滿座!
喵就是在 Ticket Master 訂票的!
想要買個好位置還可以去 Seat Plan 看一下別人對座號的評語啊!
歌劇開始前一拍:
Les Misérables is really a damn good opera.
I cried every time I watch the opera... T.T
孤星淚實在好看, 感人肺俯, 撰人熱淚!!
